There was a woman named Marty from Idaho who relocated to Thailand to retire with her husband. She absolutely loves it. She said she lives on $500 a month total, which includes a 3 bedroom house she's renting for $250 and the rest of the money pays her living expenses & food. (What? Really?)

She was asked by one of the other students why she moved to Thailand and her answer was "because of the USA". Hmm, so true, she wouldn't be able to survive in the US on $500 a month.

Anyway, what does that have to do with these pics? Well Marty was explaining, but I don't remember it all right now, oh well.
