Mopeds are definitely the preferred and probably the cheapest way to travel in Chiang Mai. But remember in general, there's very few stop lights if any and you better move out of the way because they are not stopping for any pedestrians. For the record, Ryan got bumped by a Toyota truck yesterday and the guy did not stop to check if he was alright. Damn!
